Webinars

When it comes to stimulating thought and building professional capabilities, nothing matches the power of a live workshop. However, for shorter-length seminars (e.g., 1-2 hours), intermittent courses or update sessions, the cost of arranging workshops can be prohibitive, particularly when counting the cost of travel time for both presenters and attendees.

Based on participants’ availability and/or location, Globecon can conduct Webinars to provide our professional development services. Webinars allow participants to view a presentation and listen to and interact with the seminar instructor across geographies and platform - all through a standard Web browser.

Webinars are most effective as follow-ups to workshop programs. They usually focus on topical finance issues and/or specific client situations/problems that the institution wants to address in a case format with the assistance of Globecon’s expert instructors.

Webinars can also be used prior to workshops to introduce instructors and address participants’ self-study questions or as the delivery method for workshops if participants are unable to attend a workshop in a single geographic location.
